What is Excel Sports return/exchange policy?
|
|
Excel has a 30 day return policy, which means all returns and exchanges must be done within 30 days of purchase. Credit can only be issued if the product is returned it its ORIGINAL CONDITION and in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING. Credit will be issued in the form of original payment - store credit is not available.

Does Excel refund return shipping?
|
|
Return shipping charges will be refunded (up to $7.50) on all items shipped in error by Excel. We suggest shipping your return via Priority Mail or UPS and insuring the returned package. EXCEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNED PACKAGES LOST IN TRANSIT TO EXCEL. Shipping will not be refunded on items ordered in error by the customer.

Do I need a Return Authorization # for a return or exchange?
|
No. Simply fill out the back of your Excel invoice indicating if you need a refund or exchange (a copy of the invoice is also acceptable). Returns should be mailed, FREIGHT PREPAID VIA AN INSURED SERVICE, to: Excel Sports Boulder, Attn: Returns Dept., 2045 32nd St., Boulder, CO 80301.

Does Excel pay for the exchange shipping cost?
|
|
Excel offers free shipping on the exchange of all shoes and clothing (either ground or priority mail). Excel will also cover exchange shipping costs on items that were sent in error or if the item was defective. In all other exchanges, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

I need a replacement product immediately for a return, how can I expedite it?
|
|
We suggest ordering the product you need and then returning the incorrect product for a refund. This will get you back on the bike a lot faster! If Excel sent the product in error, we will enclose a paid return label to cover your return shipping.

What if I have a defective product? What is the warranty procedure?
|
|
ALL WARRANTY ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED TO INSURE IF THE ITEM CAN BE COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY POLICY. We cannot determine if a item is defective without seeing it. When returning an item that you believe is defective, you will need to fill out this form. An RA or Return Authorization Number is not required.

Excel Sports Boulder cannot accept for return tubular tires that have been glued to the rim.
The tubular tire manufacturers feel that their quality control procedures eliminate most defects. These procedures include inflating each tire and inspecting it for defects. Because lightweight, high performance tires cannot be guaranteed against unforeseeable road hazards, the manufacturers will not accept tires that have been glued for return.
We suggest that when you receive your tubular tires they be installed on a clean rim and inflated to full pressure then left overnight to be inspected the following day for defects. (Tubular tires with latex tubes will lose 30 to 50 lbs in a 12 hour period as latex is more porous than butyl.) By testing your tire in this fashion you will also be stretching the tire which allows for easier installation. If any defects are found prior to gluing we will be happy to send you an exchange or issue a refund.

All returned products must be in new, original condition and complete with packaging. No exceptions.
