When the mountain bike tire world made a paradigm shift to 29" wheels and tires, we simply needed more air to fill the larger volume. Hence the 20 gram cartridge. It is identical in every way to its younger sibling, the 16g except 4g more of compressed air. There is another reason for purchase of the 20g cartridge. You can fill two 700c road tires to 80psi with one cartridge.

One 20g cartridge is capable of inflating up one 700c road tire to max pressure, a 26" mountain tire up to 45-55psi and a 29" mountain tire up to 45psi. They feature threaded tops that will fit all modern inflation devices. Construction is durable steel than will not leak. Due to the contents of the cartridges, these must ship UPS Ground.
