CTD (Climb, Trail, Descend) is a three way locking/adjustment nob that allows you to dial in the fork's compression to adjust the fork to your current riding conditions. Another way to look at it is 3 settings for what you are riding: soft for descending and rough terrain, medium for trail and stiff for climbing or pavement/hard smooth dirt.

Fox introduced FIT (Fox Isolated Technology) a few seasons ago to much success. This isolation technology uses a bladder system that keeps the oil and air from mixing to provide optimal performance. The dark gold coated stanchion tubes are 32mm in diameter and have a Kashimax coating with provides slippery glide and adds durability with longer wear times. 120mm of travel in this model which will fit most XC and light duty All-Mountain steeds.
