The Avid Road/Cyclocross BB7 Disc Brake Caliper with G2 Rotor is designed to be used with drop bar road brake levers. They are a favorite because cable actuation makes them easy to set up, reliable, and they deliver plenty of nicely modulated braking power that blows away non disc brakes. Fast becoming the "go to" brake for cyclocross and commuter bikes.

Avid's Tri-Align™ Caliper Positioning System lets the caliper align to the rotor and literally takes seconds. Just loosen the CPS bolts a little, and then squeeze the brake lever while re-tightening the bolts for a perfect alignment. Inboard and outboard Speed Dial Pad knobs allow for quick, precise and easy brake pad adjustments as the pads wear. Spring tension is also completely adjustable.

The BB7 Caliper installs to a 74mm mount and a adapter is included for a 51mm international standard mount. The Included G2 clean sweep rotor fits 6-hole hubs. Works for front or rear, cable and lever not included. Order two sets for one bike.
