Castelli's trademark fit and style are a welcome addition to the tri market. Castelli based the Body Paint Tri shorts off their top end, team Garmin proven Body Paint wear.

Castelli found their Body Paint line was already ideal for triathlon. It is extremely aerodynamic and with functional components integrated into the fabric. The unique fit of the Body Paint fabric allows a perfect fit with only a two panel construction which eliminates seems. One of the key elements is Castelli spends a lot of time in product development eliminating all possible sources of chafing. Castelli has further developed the fabric to make it reflect UV rays and to provide flotation during the swim leg.

The Body Paint Tri Shorts are of course made for the bike portion but the perfect fit lets the shorts virtually disappear during the swim and run. They have a thinner pad than Castelli's regular cycling shorts that is designed to quickly dry. Castelli went one step further and optimized the pad for riding in the aero position. Other features include a small interior pouch perfect for carrying that race-saving gel.
