    Similar review as the previous. Cannot get them to stay put. Ened up going back to the stock partially torn unit.

    Does ANYONE make a nice, hard brake hood anymore? I bought a replacement set of SRAM hoods to replace the fine original ones, but the new ones were soft and squishy. The locating plugs repeatedly pulled out of the retaining holes in the handles. So I bought a set of HUDZ. They look good, but performed equally poorly. Under racing or hard training conditions I find them rotating around the brake/shift handle. The locating plugs will not stay in the anchor holes because the material is too soft. One locating plug has torn off the hood entirely. ”Soft touch” sounds nice, but the reality is disappointing. I may have to ride without hoods in the future.
