Take the standard Bronson XC All-Mountain hybrid design tire and add what WTB refers to as "Inner Peace" and a larger 2.3" carcass and you get a true All Mountain tire. Inner Peace is a thin strip of nylon integrated into the tire sidewall that protects the casing from damage and reduces sidewall flex. The 2.3 width adds a bit of weight but greatly increases traction and float. The tread design has widely spaced lugs and semi-aggressive tread suited for all conditions, but excels in the rough stuff. The tread is reminiscent of a Nevegal and has similar riding characteristics. Intended for use as a front or rear tire with square center lugs that roll out and have fast acceleration.

This TCS version of the Bronson features WTB's Tubeless Compatible System (TCS), meaning, the tire uses a standard casing with a UST compatible bead. Basically, it forgoes the butyl rubber that is molded around the inside of the casing and bead. Use some sealant, and you will have a reliable tubeless set up that weights less. The tire also has a grippy, DNA 60a durameter compound tread with a light but durable UST Aramid bread. The casing is reinforced to provided enhanced protection from the elements.
