When Park Tool first introduced the CRS-15, we considered it a 'fringe tool' meaning, it would be nice to own for the occasional race install, but is not a core tool and it will not be used that frequently. Well, that was then and this is now as they say. If you are working on contemporary frames and fork for either mountain or road, we have upgraded the CRS-15 to core status. It fits the becoming-industry-standard 1 1/4" and 1.5" headset races that need to be fastened to the larger steerer diameters that are so prevalent on the market. Nary a high end frame is still offered with 1 1/8" lower steerers.

The package includes three items - an oversized slide hammer to fit over the larger steerers and two shims. One for 1 1/4" and the other for 1.5". A must for any shop or work bench.
