The Connex 10sG chain stands out due to the high profile gold color. What gives the chain this finish is a high grade brass coating. The idea here is to offer reliable protection against corrosion. Brass is fairly inert, meaning it will not rust and oxidize like other chain materials, resulting in many miles of trouble-free service. While not as long lasting as stainless or nickel(two other materials found in many Wippermann chains), the corrosion proof materials offer the distinct advantage of almost never degrading.

Stating the obvious - the gold finish looks simply fantastic and looks great with any drivetrain. SRAM, Shimano and Campagnolo 10 speed compatible.

Wippermann's ten-speed chains have a 5.9mm pin length and 2.2mm roller width so they are compatible with all current 10 speed drivetrains including Shimano, Campagnolo, and SRAM. Included with the chain is Wippermann's famous Connex 10 speed link which makes the installation and removal of the chain to be a tool-less operation and is reusable.
