Its pretty clear Redline's cyclocross design team was hard at work because Redline's 2012 Conquest Carbon Team frameset contains many notable improvements. Redline's 2012 Conquest Carbon team is full carbon fiber for the best possible ride quality and strength to weight ratio at a price well below the $2000 mark.
Some of the improvements include fully internal shift cables and rear brake cable so they are hidden from mud. A tapered 1-1/8" -1.5" headset and full carbon fork creates a very solid front end for precise steering and rock-solid, chatter-free brake performance. The Conquest Team uses a BB30 bottom bracket with an oversize shell combined with beefy chainstays for the stiffness needed when the race is on the line.
One of the less talked about strong points of the Redline is it semi-sloping design that is very fit friendly. Some other cross frames with high standovers and short top tubes can be tricky to fit. Redline has done their homework producing very balanced geometry that fits like a glove.
