Excel Sports Boulder is offering a Mavic Cosmic Carbon SLE wheelset for demo. The charge is $85 a day for the pair (whether wheels are ridden or not). The demos are done locally through our Boulder, Colorado showroom (303-444-6737). 100% of daily use fees can be put toward a new wheel purchase. This wheelset is outfitted with Mavic tires.

The Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLE features an Exalith specific treatment on the rim that penetrates the alloy, so the rim keeps its distinctive anthracite grey color for thousands of kilometers. This delays rim wear. Specific formulation penetrates into the rim to provide extreme hardness. Should be used with special Mavic Exalith brake pads to ensure braking performance and longevity.

Exceptional aerodynamics are created by a 52mm carbon/aluminum rim built with 20 bladed spokes laced radial non drive and 2x drive side. Front wheel is 16 spokes radially laced. The new Maxtal aluminum and 12K carbon rim has an aluminum braking surface for durability and optimal braking. There is also no need for special brake pads. The Cosmic Carbon SLE wheel is a fantastic choice for an aero wheel with a solid ride and the very high build quality Mavic wheels are known for.

The hub is made with both an aluminum axle and body fitted with Mavic's QRM+ bearings specifically designed for cycling. A FTS-L steel cassette body provides instant power transfer. The QRM+ bearings supply legendary glass-smooth performance.
