Excel Sports Boulder is offering a Mavic Cosmic Carbon SR wheelset for demo. The charge is $100 a day for the pair (whether wheels are ridden or not). The demos are done locally through our Boulder, Colorado showroom (303-444-6737). 100% of daily use fees can be put toward a new wheel purchase. This wheelset is outfitted with Mavic tires.

The Mavic Cosmic Carbone SR rear wheel features a 52mm rim profile for the sweet spot in terms of aerodynamics without being too deep that crosswinds become an issue. In addition to aerodynamic benefits, the 885 gram rear and 725 grams front wheel makes it light enough for fantastic all-around performance.

R2R carbon spokes, inspired from the Cosmic Ultimate, enhance aerodynamics and give the Cosmic SRs a friendly ride quality on uneven road surfaces. 12K carbon fiber is bonded to a Maxtal aluminum rim for enhanced rim strength and perfect brake performance in all weather conditions.

Lightweight, carbon flange hubs have a profiled hub cap that takes advantage of the flat spokes for low frontal drag and come with Mavic's smooth QRM+ cartridge sealed bearings. The Cosmic Carbone SR wheelset is supplied with a bearing adjustment tool, quick release, rim tape, spoke wrench, valve extender and wheelbag.
