This classic shop tool has been around for decades and is often referred to as the Campy R Tool. Even after all these years in the work force, they are currently used daily in many shops to this day. After threading the hardened steel threaded bolt into the derailleur hanger, you rotate the long swing arm, using the wheel as a reference for alignment. If you haven't used this tool before you will be surprised how quickly and accurately you can align your drop out. As will all Campagnolo tools, it is expensive, but simple and high on quality. Buy it once and it will last you a life time.

The VS030 tool is features the beautiful satin finish common on most Campagnolo's high end shop tools. The lever is long which offers plenty of power and torque. At the end of the tool you will find the threaded bolt and assembly to be fashioned from super hard steel. Not only does the threaded bolt spin on easily due to the perfect tolerances of the threads, but it will chase the existing threads on the hanger and clean and prep them. This tool is an absolute pleasure to use and at home in any shop or semi-professional's tool box.
