These pads are designed to replace stock pads for Avid Elixir and XX disc brakes. Organic compound tends to run more quietly and puts less wear on rotors. Other performance upgrades over the stock Sintered pads include far better modulation and grip. On the downside they do not last as long in wet conditions. A tad more money than the Sintered pads, but considering the improved brake feel and longevity, it is worth it.

Sold as one pair so order two pair for one bike.
