The Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 bar end shifters offer the same tried and true performance as their predecessors, with one exception - gone is the option to toggle between friction and index modes. It's pure index mode design has streamlined the shifter for added reliability and to shave a few grams. Perfect shifting unit designed to be used with time trial and triathlete bikes and in some cases building a neo-classic bike (think Rivendell with 10 speed drivetrain). Works with Shimano 10 speed drivetrains only.
