The special compound on this pad is designed to be used with carbon rims. Will work with any Shimano brake shoe that has removable shoes that use set screws. Sold as a pair so order two pair for one bike.

    I bought this set of pads just to see how they were different than the Zipp pads I’ve been using for a couple years. This review is based on installation alone. They are very difficult to install into Ultegra SL brakes. The fit was too tight. I got them almost all the way in and then couldn’t go further. Tried to take them out but couldn’t get them out! Tried pliers to pull them out but started damaging them. Is there a special installation trick?? I’ll be sticking with the Zipp pads from here!
