The Dura-Ace R55c3 brake pads feature an improve braking compound and are the stock pad included with Dura-Ace 7900 brake calipers. Wet weather stopping power is significantly improved while pad wear in wet conditions is reduced by 50%. Stopping power in dry conditions is increased by 20%. The R55C3 pads are also compatible with Shimano 7800, 6600, 5600, and similar brake calipers.

    I have 11 months into my 7900 gruppo - 12,000 miles - and I’m replacing the original brake pads for another set of 7900s. They have been the best performing and wearing pads I have ever used. Highest recommendation.

    I have been riding the new 7900 calipers and pads for about 5 weeks. These pads are far better then the 7800 pads. I recommend these over the "salmon" pads most people generally replace the old 7800 pads with.
