The simple, functional design of the Cranked Brother Egg Beater 2 pedals provides excellent mud clearing making it a great choice for gnarly mountain bike trails and cyclo-cross. The simple design also makes the Egg Beater 2 very easy to clip in so you can just step in and go. The Eggbeater 2 features a forged scm 435 chromoly steel spindle, cast stainless steel body, and stamped steel wings.

The Eggbeater's two-hole cleats fit any mountain shoe. The included cleats are asymmetric and provide either a 15 or 20 degree release angle depending on the right/left installation. The home mechanic will find the Crankbrothers pedals easy to maintain and rebuild in just a few minutes.
