Now available in a stealth, two-tone black to match many newer frameset finishes, the Ergonova is fast becoming 3T's most popular handlebar thanks to its egg-shaped top section and relatively shallow 77mm reach and 123mm drop. 3T worked closely with both pro and club riders to create a bar that provides all-day comfort as well as performance. The flattened top section reduces pressure on the hands and creates a very natural transition to the hoods. Beyond that, the shape just feels right. It is extremely comfortable and a natural fit to your hands.
The UD carbon construction is super stiff and durable. It features a gloss white finish with a textured area applied to the fixing areas of the stem and brake/shifters. This feature pretty much guarantees no slippage when everything is installed properly. A generous grove on the underside of the bar discreetly hides the cables. There is about a 10cm section of uniform 31.8 thickness on the stem clamp area making the Ergonova compatible with most clip-on aero bars.
It's important to note that the bars are measured center to center at the ends of the bar. The Ergonova has a slight flare meaning the bars are about 15mm narrower at the hoods so some riders may want to size up. The Ergonova is available in 40cm-44cm widths and offered in 31.8mm bar clamp diameter only.
