3T has always been on the compact tip. Meaning, many of their bar designs feature tighter bends and minimized budges to reduce weight and make these products lighter, lower profile and more streamlined. In the case of the Eryx Pro Riser handlebar, compact design is featured in the bulge. The width of the 31.8mm section where the stem is clamped to the bar is very narrow, leaving copious amounts of area for clamping on shifters, brakes and other cockpit components. It also allows you to race trim the bars down to a narrower width, while leaving plenty of room for all of the bar accouchements.
The bends of the bars have the industry standard 3° upsweep and 7° back sweep. Cosmetics match perfectly with a 3T Pro stem, but go well with any black anodized stem as well.
