Assos FI.Uno S5 Shorts

The Assos FI.Uno shorts are designed as a premium short for riders preferring shorts over bibs. They are designed for maximum comfort, performance and value. Due to the level of comfort, fit and use of technical fabrics, the FI.Uno's are widely considered the best cycling shorts (non-bibs) available on the market.

The FI.Uno shorts use the Assos proprietary A430 fabric panels throughout the enitre body panels. This magical fabric offers plenty of muscle compression and is super low volume. Being low volume and sheer, it offers plenty of ventilation and has great wicking capacity. These panels are all stitched together using over-locking seams provide a tight bond between panels and add elasticity. The classic S5 chamois has the familiar klinik blue top sheet with dimples for air flow and heat management. The core of the S5 features multiple densities of material for supreme comfort.

The fit of the FI.Uno is decidedly Assos. All panels of the FI.Uno shorts are anatomically cut and when stitched together, form a perfect synergy called Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design (AEPD II). Every panel is pattern-cut in an anatomical shape to mimic the body while in the cycling position. Wash bag is included with every set of shorts.

Best shorts I have ever worn. Over 20 years of cycling and no other pair even comes close. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
