A std. frame pump is the only PRO way to go. Air cartridges are not 100% reliable. It also comes in handy for hostile dogs and humans alike. Unlike the old aluminum version which had smaller ends, the handle ends on the carbon pump are much more bulky and therefore make the pump a little longer. For some reason the medium is too long and the small a little too short for traditional frames. For the new breed with thick tubes the small fits.

Large size pump is too long for 508mm seat tube (58cm frame size) and medium size is too short.

I been packing one of these babies on my old steel bike for years (whenever Blackburn came out with the carbon model). Its a couple of grams lighter than the aluminum version (if that means squat). It works like a champ. The secret of using a frame pump is to put the valve in the 12 Oclock position and put both hand on the pump and pump away. Do not touch the the wheel or tire. The wheel will sway back and forth but it will not damage the valve stem. This pump looks nice and you wont have to depend on anything else. Blackburn will send you free rebuild kits if you ask. It will last a lifetime. The carbon fiber ads a nice touch to your bike. Of course the aluminum version works just as well.
