The Chris King Single Speed hub borrows some of the Classic hubshell shape and uses the RingDrive engagement system, but make no mistake about it, this hub is pure sola velocidad. In fact, it is widely considered the best single speed hub available by one of the most picky and persnickety gang of riders there are: Single Speeders.

The engineers at Chris King started with a standard Classic rear hub and widened the flanges to produce a dishless wheel. This provides a stronger wheel due to a wider spoke platform, even spoke tensions and same size spokes on both sides of the wheel. The freehub is a standard 72 point RingDrive assembly that has been shortened in width to provide just enough room for one cog and a few spacers. The spacers and cog can be moved around so you can find the perfect chainline.

The hub spacing is 135mm and comes in polished black with laser-etched Chris King logos. Included with the hub is a spacer kit, proprietary lockring, 18th cog and a pair of Fun Bolts.
