Fantastic combo conveniently packaged to allow Hutchinson Intensive Tubeless road tires to be used with a standard clincher (not tubeless specific) rim. This is a great, low-cost way of getting the benefits of tubeless tire technology without investing in a tubeless-specific wheelset. The benefits of tubeless include a softer ride quality with improved traction. The chance of pinch flats are also drastically reduced. The Hutchinson Intensive tubeless tire is a more durable and longer wearing option. It is a great choice for high-mileage months and also fantastic for races on rough, irregular road surfaces. Longer wear is achieved thanks to a thermoplastic-reinforced tread compound.

The packaged bundle includes a custom 44mm Presta valve stem to be used when converting most 700c rims to tubeless using NoTubes 21mm yellow tape. The valve will seal most existing rims with inner valve stem hole 6mm - 8mm. Rims with no inner spoke holes will not require the yellow spoke tape just the 44mm valve stems like the Mavic Ksyrium rims. Deep dish rims will require a valve stem extender. Valve stem features a removable valve core which allows for application of NoTubes tire sealant.
