The Iron Cross Pro disc wheels drops about 160 grams from the Comp plus includes a NoTubes padded wheel bag. They are designed for superior burp resistance with low pressure tube-type cyclocross clinchers. Any other tires will be somewhat difficult to mount. The 20mm internal rim width provides superior tire performance because it improves tire support.
This rim features short sidewalls and a wide inside rim cavity for lower tire pressure creating a firm tire feel with decreased rolling resistance. So in addition to virtually eliminating the possibility of flats, you get a leak-free seal with tubeless and better tire performance with either tubeless or with a regular tire and tube setup.
Bringing the world's best tubeless system to cyclocross turned out a little better than Stan's even planned, but the new Iron Cross Pro disc wheel haven't taken the suffering out completely. Stan's 3.30Ti Disc hubs, DT Revolution spokes and alloy nipples keep the weight in the low 1400-gram range. Rear hub size is 135mm. Can be run with tubes or tubeless.
A 24 hole front wheel is 2x laced with DT Revolution black spokes the venerable Stan's 3.30Ti hub. The 28 hole rear wheel is laced 2x with DT Revolution spokes laced to a 3.30Ti rear hub which has been re-designed for increased lateral stiffness. Disc brake only.
6-bolt disc brake only - rotors not included. 170-pound recommended maximum rider weight limit. Compatible with all Shimano/SRAM cassettes up to 11-speed
