HED's new light weight unidirectional carbon aero section is 55mm deep which is considered the ideal depth to maximize performance by balancing aerodynamics with control. The new rim section give the Jet 5 Express a much improved stability in crosswinds (HED call this SCT -stability control technology) that only this latest generation of wheelset can provide.
