Leg, arm and knee warmers should be part of every cyclist gear bag because they all offer cool-weather protection and can be easily removed or put on when conditions change. On the surface, Castelli Nanoflex Leg Warmers seem like most medium-weight leg warmers but high-tech, Nanoflex fabric and construction details take them to the next level.

Castelli uses Nanoflex fabric which is similar to Thermoflex in terms of sharing a soft, brushed interior for comfort and warmth. Nanoflex has a silicone impregnated surface which provides better water repellency and wind resistance clearly a notch above other leg warmers.

Nanoflex leg warmers are not fully waterproof, but really work well to protect from scattered rain, mild showers and road spray. In short, they will keep you comfortable in all conditions much better than most other leg warmers.

Overall, the Nanoflex leg warmers have a very protective feel. They work in a wide 45-65ºF temperature range. A detail we like very much is silicone grippers on both the inside and outside to keep the warmers in place. 6-inch ankle zippers make the leg warmers easy to put on or take off.
