Many Pro Tour cyclist describe the Noah as the fastest bike they have ever ridden. Engineers have determined the Noah's aerodynamic benefit to give an extra 2km/h in a top end sprint and 15 less watts are required to power the Noah in a breakaway. The Ridley Noah features groundbreaking aerodynamic technology combined with an excellent ride quality in a frameset that is both beautiful as well as very solid and reliable. Over the years, Ridley has proven to be one of the best when it comes to balancing low weight and high stiffness without compromising strength.

As far as performance goes, aerodynamics are king over lightweight unless the road gets very steep. The Noah employs airfoil-shaped tubes and seatmast to slice through the wind similar to other aero road frames. Ridley takes aerodynamics a step further with R-Flow and R-Surface Paint technologies so you can achieve higher speed with fewer watts of effort.

R-Flow describes small slots on the fork that draw turbulent air away from the spokes resulting in a drag reduction of 6.4%. Using data from extensive wind tunnel testing, Ridley engineers apply texture (R-Surface Paint) to strategic locations on the frame. This causes the air to move smoothly around the frame instead of detaching and creating drag just like dimples on a golf ball allow it to travel farther.

Includes frame, fork, headset and a seat clamp assembly with several spacers that allows approximately 20mm of adjustment.

Build information: requires braze-on front derailleur and standard English (BSC) threaded bottom bracket
