Hovering around the 100 gram range, the FSA OS-99 is one of the lightest stems you can purchase. This feat is achieved by using 3D net forging and extensive CNC'ing of heat treated 7050 series aluminum. For those unfamiliar with the 3D forging process, it means incredible stiffness, low weight and reliability. The FSA SL faceplate is relieved in every possible place to rid the stem of any nonessential material in order to shave every gram possible.

The body and shaft of the stem is ball burnished and finished in a matte black anodization. Smallish FSA logo is offset by the unpolished silver faceplate. Very unassuming graphics for one of the markets lightest stems. The stem comes in a variety of lengths all in an 84° rise with a 31.8mm bar clamp diameter. Excellent choice for value, low weight and reliability. It is easily at home on any high end bike.
