This Shimano brake cable is the same as the standard cable, except it is Teflon coated for added durability and less friction for more linear response. It has marked improvement over the standard cables offered without this coating. It offers wound stainless steel construction to resist stretching and garner perfect brake modulation every time. It's cost more than the regular Shimano cables, but you can feel the improvement. Sold as individual, carded cables with one end cap.
