This headset is made specifically for head tubes that are tapered and require a 50mm-61mm Press Fit cups. Press Fit is widely considered a superior design compared to Drop In headsets where the bearings rest directly into the frame because the manufacturer can control the tolerances of the cup and create a perfect interface with the bearing.

The cups are heat treated and anodized black while the bearing are top grade to ensure longevity and the ultimate in smooth.
