The DT RR465 (formerly the RR1.1 double eyelet) is fast becoming a default rim choice for building an all-around wheelset. It is light enough to build a climbing wheel and strong enough for a tough set of everyday training wheels. A low 20.8mm rim profile gives the RR465 a nice ride quality and allows it to be minimally affected by crosswinds. The RR465 features a machined braking surface and welded and machined seam for the best possible rim joint. Double stainless steel eyelets evenly distribute spoke stresses to enhance rim durability. A rim wear indicator allows the full service life of the rim to be safely utilized.

Great rims! Have built up many pair and they wear like iron. Not sure what other guy is talking about but should maybe learn to ride his bike better.
Pros: machined braking surface, stainless eyelets.
Cons: none

I've now bent two of these rims riding on the road after hitting a slightly elevated concrete edge on a section of bike path. The second time the tire didn't even flat, but the rim edge was bent when I noticed something was wrong with the wheel. The second rim was brand new--two weeks old!
Pros: none
Cons: weak construction
