The Campagnolo Record C9 chain is their top(and only) offering for a 9 speed drivetrain and a great value to boot. The chain features a chromed nickel plated surface for durability and "floating link" technology for precise shifting.
I have only good things to say about this chain. It wears well. It shifts better than Connex chain on my Campy triple.
Use this on both my single and tandem 9 speed bikes. Dont have to use special pins like you do with Shimano (or newer 10sp Campy stuff). I use a Park Chain checker and replace chains when indicated. Usually get over 3.000 on this Campy chain and lucky to get 2,000 miles on a Sram chains. If I check the Campy chain when new, the Park gage fits snugly near "0" on the dial. A new Sram chain shows some play. Tighter tolerances probably why I get more wear out of it.
Excelent chain. I bought one on 2000 and I will change it this year ( 2005) I used it time after time and works excellent with my campy system ( triple 9 speed). Excellent choice over other brands.
