The Record EPS rear derailleur looks similar to the Record mechanical version with the exception of a cleverly hidden EPS electronic receiver. Upon careful inspection, you will notice the receiving unit hidden underneath the carbon outer sheath. You will also notice the brace piston arm that the derailleur body slides on. The derailleurs function is to receive input in the form of a digital signal from the EPS's DTI processor. This digital signal directs the derailleur to the perfect position for the perfect shift.

The alloy body has been anodized black for a complete blackout stealth look. Rear pulley wheels spin on Ceramic bearings instead of steel for improved durability and performance. The frame fixing bolt is crafted from alloy for weight reduction. The carbon fiber outer plate completely wraps the body for the ultimate in torsional rigidity. This plate also acts as a cover to protect the EPS internals. The Record EPS rear derailleur is compatible with all EPS components.
