This is the same rim as the silver Mavic Tubular Reflex rim except Mavic takes it one step further with hard anodizing giving the rim a dark grey color and making the surface of the aluminum alloy harder. Mavic refers to this as Coat Dural or Couche Dure, more affectionately known as CD. The machined braking surface(UB) makes for superb and consistent braking performance.

    Very lite but super strong. Sidewalls last extremely well with CD finish. Wider profile (22mm?) follows current trends, and also a great CX rim. In 32 hole, bombproof, yet only about 1600g for a built pair. Full season with x2 build, no truing, no troubles.

    Pros: Wide profile, very strong, light, durable finish.

    Cons: Black would be nicer (to be picky).
