    I have Rival for over 3 years and still performing great

    Pros: light,fast shifting

    I have been using Rival for 4 months. It performs as well as my previous Ultegra setup, and is significantly lighter and cheaper. Beware that the hoods and levers are shaped more like Campy, so if you are switching from Shimano you might have to tweak your handlebar setup. Getting used to ”double tap” was really easy. The hand movement required is exactly the same as Shimano, you just use the same lever to shift either direction. Durability is still an unknown, but I have no reason to expect problems.
