There are two unique things to consider when assessing the SS.Mille jersey. First, it is not there top of the line piece, however, Assos quality and design is so elevated from other manufacturers, that by almost anyone else's standards it would be a top offering. Second is the fit. The SS.Mille is called an endurance jersey meaning it has a slightly relaxed or club fit. Now Assos jerseys in general are very anatomical and form fitting, so in contrast to their other jerseys, it is more relaxed, but by no means loose or baggy.

The SS.Mille is packed with proprietary fabrics and design features indigenous to Assos cycling wear. Several anatomical panels are carefully stitched together in strategic areas with each panel having a specific purpose. Perhaps the most important being the rear panel which is ventilated and includes Assos's Stabilizer Panel for support. The front and sleeves use Type 151 material which wicks incredibly well and helps regulate body temperature. Assos bills this as 'high body clima regulation'. Full zipper front adds another way of regulating body temp. 3 pockets and an additional zipper pocket take care of storage. The bottom back of the jersey has the familiar elastic hem. The SS.Mille is yet another winner in the Assos range. Available in white or black. Both colors have the unique Volkanga pattern.
