The slant six is a John Tomac signature series tire. Anyone who has seen John Tomac ride (and several of us have) realize that he knows a thing or two about riding fast and in control. Tomac was known for top finishes in both cross country and downhill World championships. In case you are wondering, DTC stands for dual tread compound meaning longer wear in the center and more stickiness at the edges.
Tomac designed the Slant Six to be the perfect blend of Kenda's most winning tires - the Smallblock 8 and the Nevegal. The Slant six is one of the newer tread designs that incorporates low friction speed with grippyness. It features a slanted tread which compresses into the trail and then rolls out for both excellent traction and fast rolling. Perfect for intermediate to hard-packed terrain. Also ideal for the loose, rocky stuff.
