The Castelli Sottie vest is a handy, packable vest that is perfect to take the chill out of long descents or carry anytime there could be a change in the temperature. Sottile is made out of a unique lightweight, breathable, wind resistant and semi-transparent material that allows your jersey underneath to be seen. It is raglan cut and has a padded neck and full zip closure for easy opening.

    Great vest. Description is accurate - wind resistant, see-through, and water repellant. Great for event day when riding with a group and you want your matching jerseys to show through! Not a rain vest by any means but water repellant enough to keep off a light rain. Great top layer for cool mornings. The entire vest is made of the same material - except for a little mesh around the armholes. For those who like (and are used to) the entire back panel that is made of mesh may take a little time getting used to this. Runs a little small - I normally am a solid Medium in most jerseys and I am taking a large in this. The medium was a little tight and wouldn’t give enough wiggle room for getting to the jersey pockets. Side zipper allows access to jersey pockets. Very lightweight. Overall a super vest - what else do you expect from Castelli..
