I’ve been cycling for more than 35 years and this is the best thing I’ve ever worn on my head while riding. I wear it year round including the hot Texas summers. I can’t stand the glare in my Oakley’s anymore without the hat. Mountain bike and road riding. I’m ordering a couple more now because I let my wife borrow one.

I’ve been wearing these for several years now. Love them so much I’ve taken the padding out of my helmet and just use this hat as a liner. I wear is backwards normally, and front-wise in the rain. It has the added benefit of not looking stupid when you keep it on your head to go into Starbucks after a ride.

Contrary to another post, the brim is NOT standard hat size. It is, however, slightly larger than traditional "euro" caps. If you’re riding in the sun or rain, this can be a good thing. But, depending on your helmet, it can make it tough to flip up. One other positive, it is not made from traditional "euro" cotton. It actually helps keep sweat out of your eyes, and helps with evaporation; it also helps take cut some of the chill on early morning starts -- I don’t wear anything warmer until the temp goes below 32F. I ride with one of these caps probably 90% of the time.

Purchased the hat due to the claim that it fits under your helmet. I assumed it would be a normal cycling cap brim which it was not. The brim on the hat is the same size as a "normal hat"

The best summer cycling hat. Fits perfectly under helmet and provides cushion and sun protection. The visor stays up and comes down when needed to block the sun. Washable and I have it in three colors. During our mild Sacramento winter I throw on an ear bra for extra warmth. I also wear it under my ski helmet to keep the snow off the top of my goggles during a storm and also to block the sun. Perfect.
