The first thing you notice about the Northwave Striker is the well-vented, breathable upper. A toe vent is part of Northwave's Aerator System and works hand in hand with generous use of microfiber mesh to assist in air flow. The comfortable, supple and nicely-fitted upper is supported by a Web Power Cage for solid power transfer on the upstroke.

A very stiff Speedlight 3D sole is made from a combination of nylon and carbon fiber. The Omega heel cup comfortably secures the heel in place and even has some vents for heat escape. Performance Pro insoles give arch support, are lightweight and can easily be removed to speed drying.

The Striker also features a new dual-density rubber tread. Natural rubber contacts the ground giving unparalleled grip. Two Velcro straps and a SBS buckle provide precise closure.
