Contrary to popular belief, baselayers or Body Insulators as Assos likes to refer to them as, are not disposable or one season items. With proper care they will last many seasons. They are also the garment that is directly against your body so comfort and performance is tantamount. The point being, why not invest in a good solid baselayer that fits perfectly and performs to task.

Like all Assos wear, the baselayer is anatomically cut and will contour with your body and act as a second skin when riding. It is impossible to get an exacting fit without using several panels. These different panels are all flat stitched or surged with the seams being repositioned away from sensitive or mobile areas to provide max comfort.

Assos uses proprietary 90 gram interActive fabric for the front body with an aerated mesh back for ventilation and improved moisture movement. Best short sleeve baselayer Availible period. Wash it correctly and treat with normal care and you will be able to use this garment for many seasons.

One thing that is interesting to note is that although this is a summer baselayer, we use it for the other 3 seasons as well. The light fabric lends itself perfectly for multiple layering options.
