Silca has been making quality floor pumps since 1917. The nice thing about Silca floor pumps is they are capable of exceeding the lifespan of virtually all pumps on the market thanks to quality construction with a steel barrel and comfortable wood handle. If a Silca starts to lose a little air at the head or not build pressure, they are easily serviced and replacement parts are widely available. No other pump has the ability to last 30+ years like a Silca.
The Super Pista features a 24" steel barrel with a nicely made wood handle and reliable plastic base. A 40" hose features Silca's new dual head which is basically a Presta head threaded into a Schrader receptacle. This pump really works best for Presta valves, but it can work on a Schrader valve for the family bikes or car tires in a pinch. To inflate disc wheels Silca makes a disc pump head that can be purchased separately and is easily installed.

Silca pumps are not what they used to be. I had a pair of Silcas, a 15 year old Pista which I gave to my son. It had a die cast base and worked perfectly after all these years. The new Super Pista I ordered now has a plastic base. But more importantly, the check valve failed after 6 months! The moral of the story is, if you specifically buy Silca, it's not the quality brand it used to be.
Ive been using my Silca for 21 years. These things last forever and amortized over that time, are really quite cheap for a high quality product.
Ive tried all sorts of pumps, and the Silca Super Pista is the best pump on the market. Period. It goes to higher pressures than any other pump, lasts forever, is completely rebuildable and is completely reliable. Love it.
To be honest it does not seem to work any better than the $18 Bell pump I had to buy three years ago while on vacation. How much performance do you need pumping up a tire? I guess it nice that parts are replaceable and it seems like a well made product. My priorities, however, are not a top of the line pump so next time Id probably go with a a basic pump that is able to fill my tires
Fully serviceable and very dependable. The gasket-style head is easy to attach and remove from valves. I recommend non-threaded valves when using this pump, as threaded valves wear the rubber gasket over time.
The best pump on the market. Components are replaceable making this a lifetime unit. I have had this same pump for 20 years and it is still going strong. Other pumps I own have not held the test of time and are basically a throw away. The Silca Super Pista is the benchmark of all floor pumps.
