The Mavic TN 719 29'er Disc rim is both light and strong thanks to the use of Mavic's proven Maxtal alloy. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminum alloy is about 30% stronger than conventional 6106 alloy and weighs less too. The TN 719 has their SUP rim joint which is stronger and smoother than a pinned joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
