Leave it to the masterminds at Zipp to think about aerodynamics when designing a tire. The golf ball indents we have grown accustomed to on Zipp's carbon rims are now included on the tread pattern of the Tangente tires. This unique tread pattern not only improves airflow but offers superb grip and traction in smooth and rough roads in both wet and dry conditions. The Silica compound rolls incredibly fast and has good wear time.

The tread is applied to an ultra-fine 290 tpi Corespan fabric which give good feedback and is resilient and soft but durable. A puncture-resistant belt is sandwiched between the tread and casing. The belt is constructed from a very light and pliant fabric that will not detract form the Tangente performance.
