The Stan's Crow was designed to be a lightweight hardpack race tire. The minimal hard durameter tread with softer durameter side nobs offer unmatched fast rolling with surprisingly grippy cornering prowess. At 480 grams per tire, it doesn't get much lighter than this.
Due to the lack of tread the Crow will never be considered a great mud tire, but for harder conditions, sand and loose terrain this tire rocks. Surprisingly enough, we have found the Crow to be durable and reliable in the field, even with light sidewalls and the 480 gram weight. If you're looking for a fast and light XC tire and don't play in the mud, you may consider taking the Crow out for a drive. We have had excellent luck with it, especially when paired with Stans BST (Bead Socket) rims. Stan's sealant is a must for success with the Crow and its more treaded brother, The Raven. Available in 29" with a 2.0" width only.
