The Silca Thermoplastic BC-10 cage is light and durable. The one piece wrap does a good job at holding the bottle securely and will prevent 'bottle launch' on rough terrain. At 25 grams they also rival the low weight of any carbon cage.
One interesting thing to note is: the thermoplastic material used in the cage has a carbon look and feel to it, so it offers a high-end appeal. They look right at home on any top of the line steed. If you are looking for a strong and lightweight cage on a budget, you should consider the BC-10 from Silca.

I purchased 3 of these and 2 of them broke within a couple thousand kms. The thermoplastic seems brittle and under-built for the intended use. The design does hold bottles tightly, but you need to find just the right size or else--no tolerance for different diameters. I like light, but not at the expense of function. I rec the Elite Race resin cages instead.

I like the weight and look of these cages. Even held bottles tight on rough roads. So tight that both cages are now broken from trying to get them in and out while riding.

I bought 2 of these cages but it is almost impossible to insert a normal bottle. The frame-side clip is too long and jams the bottle. After 1 ride my new biddons were scratched from trying to get them in and out. Took them straight off and threw them in the bin!
