Same as the standard TriMax except upadted to a lighter and more comfortable carbon extension.

The Trimax is the latest in clip-on designs from Vision. They feature an TriMax adjustable clip on bar with FAST technology. The F.A.S.T (Fully Adjustable Slider Technology) system allows the length of the extensions to be adjusted from 230 to 290mm even with cables and housing installed. Totally adjustable arm rests and quality construction round out the package. Made for modern 31.8mm handlebars.

I nearly had a heart attack after I cut my bars and couldn’t fit my bar-end shifters into the end because of the internal reinforcements. Luckily Vision saw this coming, and includes smaller diameter wedges to fit to your bar-ends. This is crucial if you need to cut your bars to either fit your body, or more importantly conform to UCI regulations.

I cut my bars down to 250mm marker and had no trouble fitting Shimano bar end shifters, I had to use the segment unit(clamp to hold shifter in place) provided with the bars.

Even though the add says "Comes in 290mm length and can be shortened by cutting the bar if desired. Bar is marked from 290mm to 210mm for ease of cutting." and the bar is marked, it can not be cut and still use bar end shifters. The bars are butted and the internal diameter gets smaller the farther up the bar you go. So, if you cut too much off (even cutting at a spot marked on the bar) bar end shifters will not fit.
