The Shimano 6700 brake calipers incorporate many of the improvements made to Shimano's flagship 7900 brake calipers. This 6700G version is the newest glossy grey color that is darker than the previous finish.

A new Super SLR arch design applies increased braking power with a more linear progression of braking force for better modulation. Both the spring tension and brake shoe toe-in are easily adjust for a perfect, custom set-up. The new brake pad compound improves braking 100% in wet conditions and 20% in dry conditions. A low profile outer cable stop improves cable routing for reduced friction and increased smoothness especially with today's sloping top-tube frames.
