Ever since Selle Italia introduced the minimalist SLR, it became mandatory for all saddle makers to produce a similar product. A thin carbon shell with thin and dense padding: a true racing saddle. The Valcon is WTB's version of the SLR with a few added features in the aim at making it a bit more comfortable.

The shell has WTB's Luxzone which is essentially a cut out window on the shell underneath the padding. If offers pressure relief without compromising support. Proprietary DNA padding is dense and has superb memory properties to conform to your body shape. The top of the saddle has a recess to remove pressure from your prostate. The shell is constructed from carbon, as are the rails to keep the weight down to a feathery 162 grams.

Although designed as a race saddle, there a many riders that use the Valcon as an everyday, all around saddle. Lots of comfort in this minimal design.
